THERE ARE 4 KINDS OF SERVANTS!
On 4/22/17, I woke up to Yahweh saying the following words to me:
(The bolded words are the words God spoke to me in my spirit. The rest of the words are my own thoughts of what I felt he meant by his words.)
THERE ARE 4 KINDS OF SERVANTS
God showed me a long time ago that the number 555 represents triple grace, as the number 5 biblically represents grace. This number to me has come to represent the grace of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So when God said 555, God was giving me HIS number. Therefore, I knew that God wanted to talk to me about HIS 4 kind of servants, HIS children.
HEDGING YOUR BETS
A person who is “hedging their bets” protects himself or herself against loss by supporting more than one possible result, or both sides, in a competition. Example sentence, “They’re hedging their bets and keeping up contacts with both companies.” I think of Christians, who are hedging their bets, as believers who still have one foot in Satan’s world, while their other foot is in God’s world, in case life in one or the other doesn’t work out for them. They are God’s servants in some areas of their lives, but not all.
MIDDLE OF THE ROAD
Middle of the road is defined as, “a course of action or standpoint midway between extremes.” A middle of the road kind of servant is acceptable to, or liked by, most people. Unfortunately, I believe a large majority of Christians fall into this category of servants, so as not to ruffle the feathers of friends, family, co-workers, etc.
A revolutionary kind of servant is one that is involving or causing a complete or dramatic change; thoroughgoing, complete, total, absolute, comprehensive, sweeping, far-reaching, extensive. Jesus, and his disciples, were revolutionary servants of Yahweh! They spoke the truth of the Gospel to everyone they met, regardless of how their words would be received. In addition, they loved and served ALL of mankind, not just those people they liked.
A veteran is a person who has had a long experience serving in a particular field or in the military; a person who is particularly skilled at a specified activity or art; a person willing to go to battle and to lay down their life. Jesus became a veteran servant of Yahweh, for God's Kingdom, when he laid down his life for the sins of mankind. Jesus’s disciples became veterans as well, when they too gave up their own agendas for Yahweh's will for their lives, and followed in Jesus’s footsteps.
After pondering these 4 kinds of servants with God, and trying to determine what kind of servant I was, Yahweh said…
AWAKEN THE LION WITHIN YOU!
And Mary said, "I am the handmaid (servant) of the Lord; LET IT BE TO ME according to your WORD." Luke 1:38
So today, take a few moments with your Lord and Savior, and ask him what kind of servant you are in his Kingdom. Then let him instruct you on HOW to become the kind of servant HE wants you to become! And if you are already a VETERAN SERVANT for the Lord, thank you for your service!
